About The Role

Talent Acquisition Specialists work in the human resources department of our company to help find the most qualified candidates to join our team. The role of the TAS is to act as a liaison between an employer and applicants for a job, especially for roles that are hard to fill and require a list of special qualifications.

Internally, the TAS is responsible for processing applications, conducting and scheduling interviews, and managing new hire paperwork. They will assist in onboarding the candidate to our team, and will have a hand in all parts of the new hire’s transition. The TAS will also help refine job descriptions to make sure they accurately reflect the needs of the company.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong desire to win and overachieve, while exuding a positive attitude and energy with customers and teammates. We’re looking for experienced professionals with exceptional communication skills, a strong passion for helping others, and a drive to improve and get better each day. In this role, you will:

  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Skills & Experience
  • 1-3 years exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in full life-cycle environment
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience recruiting in relevant industry environment
  • Phone, Zoom, and online meeting platform skills
  • Supports workplace diversity
  • Proven track record with the ability to hit company targets and goals
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Startup grit and can adapt to changes quickly
  • Incredible drive to win
  • Quick learner comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills including strong phone presence
  • Life insurance experience is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
